Pro Photos from the Unveiled Event in L.A.

Robert Arroyo happened to catch a few great photos of our space at the Unveiled Event in L.A. a few weeks ago, that I’ve shared here on the Serephine Facebook page. He also captured many more of the amazing vendors that joined us there, which you can see here on the Unveiled- Bridal Style Revealed Facebook Page!

Unveiled Event!

I just got back from L.A. today and have been racing around playing catch-up, but I wanted to quickly share a bit of info., and few photos from the Unveiled Event! These are just a few phone snaps we took of my space during the show, and pro photos will hopefully be available soon. I hope to share some of not only my space, but of quite a few of the wonderful vendors that were also there!

There were some AMAZING photographers, planners, caterers, dresses (Nicole Miller and Weddington Way), etc., and the fashion show by Vera Wang was definitely a crowd-pleaser. (One of my absolute favorite things in life is viewing gorgeous wedding dresses!) For my show space, I had the pleasure of getting positioned between Charm City Cakes West and Icing on the Ring, and both not only had beautiful elements to display, both were so kind and fun to chat with. Sara, a baker from the cake shop, was telling me about so many delicious-sounding cake flavors that I was drooling! Plan A Events, who hosted the show, did a wonderful job, and went so far above and beyond, that when my mirror was accidentally broken by another vendor, Plan A ran out and got me a new one! That was so unexpected and appreciated! At the end of the day, when all was packed up and we were on our way out the door, we had the pleasure of chatting with David, Vera Wang’s Senior Bridal Stylist, and he was so lovely that I really wish we would have had a few more minutes (or hours!) to chat, before our cab arrived and it was time to say goodbye.

I really could go on and on, we had such a great time, but I’ll finish with saying that Mandi from Champagne Wedding Coordination was seriously amazing. She was able to design the entire concept of my space, from afar, and between the two of us stuffing our suitcases, and some choice pieces rented from Found Vintage Rentals, she put together my amazing, coral-colored booth, in L.A. I was so proud to call it mine, and stand there to meet lovely brides and their grooms, friends and families. Miss Ivy Anderson, one of my all-time favorite models, also joined us, and besides looking gorgeous and answering questions, she was right there helping with the set-up. I can’t believe how blessed I was to be joined by these two wonderful women!

Unveiled - Bridal Style Revealed

I’ll be in L.A. this weekend, showing off some of my pieces, and checking out the Vera Wang fashion show! If you’re in the L.A. area and planning your wedding, you really shouldn’t miss the Unveiled Event!

The Aurora Collection is Here!

Ok, let me start by saying this collection was comprised of my blood, sweat and tears. I worked so very hard to come up with ideas that I have never seen elsewhere, and use the very best of the best materials. I hand-dyed and painted beautiful silks with my own color silk dye blends, I hand formed each and every petal, I sewed every single rhinestone and bead, it took more hours than I can count, and I’m very proud of each piece.

Enough about that: I’d like to give Kali Lu Photo a HUGE thank you for once again, exceeding every expectation I had for the photographs she took. She is phenomenal and I just love working with her. She and I developed the concept for this shoot together with amazing stylist Kae from Short & Sweet Design, and ran it with help from some amazing vendors. We also did a styled portion that I will be able to share a little later, complete with such beautiful florals, tables, settings, invitations, place cards, cakes—I can’t wait to share!

Until then, below are just some of my MANY favorites of the new product photos, shot at the lovely Seattle Daylight Studios, with hair and makeup by Cara Aeschilman, and gorgeous Sarah Seven and Nicole Miller dresses lent to us by The Dress Theory, modeled by two very beautiful women: Ivy and Janie. More truly amazing vendors helped in the styled shoot portion, and I’ll share them later, too!
